Is there a way to change your password for posting here to one that's easier to remember?IP: Logged |

Thanks, Ted! I figured it out myself using the "what does this button do?" approach. You've got to click on the link called "profile" at the top of the board.I'll paste the link here too for anyone who wants to try it: http://www.polygraphplace.com/cgi-bin/ubbcgi/ubbmisc.cgi?action=editbio&Browser=&DaysPrune=1000&LastLogin=

Dang it all Polyops, after all this time you want to change your password? What's wrong? Is the massive combination of Swiss Banc Account access numbers too much?! Not me baby, I finally memorized mine...LOL Jim [This message has been edited by sackett (edited 03-07-2005).] IP: Logged |

I had been keeping the password I was assigned for this board on a grungy old post-it note near the computer all this time. I've trashed the post-it now along with some other desk clutter.I prefer to have a password that I can easily remember. The default one was just too easy to forget, especially if you're away for a few weeks (or more), as I sometimes am. Alas, no swiss bank accounts... But if you'd care to open one for me... I had forgotten about it, but the profile option also lets you set or change a signature to go with your posts. I set one when I first registered ("It's a thankless job, but somebody's gotta do it"). I've changed it to something a bit less grumpy. ------------------ John 8:32
